James 4

James 4: 7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

ok I just wrote a ton, hit the wrong button (keys) and deleted it all. sucky. Oh well . anyways I ways saying that it is like common since. This factor to that is I rest the Devil he will flee. But how many times do I not resist him. Draw need to God and he will draw near to me. I am going through a hard time right now, not looking for sympathy but looking for Gods grace. He said he is gonna feed the birds, and why worry about tomorrow for it has enough worries for it self. Jesus is amazing and wants the best for me. So I am seeking his will for my life not mine. I am excited to turn my laughter to morn and my joy  to gloom. And humble my self by the side of the Lord and ONLY he can lift me up. Jesus I thank you for being an amazing God. A gracious God. Thank you for supplying all my needs according to your riches not my own. I love you!!

  1. Thats some good stuff, James 4:7, exactly what i have been experiencing this week, resisted the devil and he fleed, drawed near to God and he drawed near to me, i cleansed my hands and purified my heart, i had lament and mourned and weeped, and i was full of gloom, and i humbled myself, and of course our Great God lifted me up! Jesus always lifts us up if we but humble ourselves. Mhm, so very good. i read your blog cause noone seems to be writing them these days, i just started last week. Thats some good stuff tim, see you later brotha.

  2. Yea sometimes it seems like, God where are you, Hey I’m going through some hard times here, I know you care but It seem like your not there. Be still and know I am God. That always helps me. It’s easy for others to tell you, no worries God is in control. But when it seems like every thing is out of control is when we need to trust the most. He will bring us out of the fire better than before. We serve a mighty God and there is nothing he wouldn’t do for us. The Devil would like us to think otherwise, the battle is really with our own thinking and until we get our thinking right it will always be hard. Therefore brother whatever is pure……….Guard your thoughts very carefully.
    Jesus is Lord
